Forks don't make people fat.

Knives don't jump up off the table and stab people.

Car don't drive themselves drunk.

Guns don't shoot people all by themselves.

So before everyone wants more gun control and believes what the elite in power feed to you know that the challenge to gun control isn't about taking away your right to hunt or defend your person, it's about taking away your right to prevent tyranny. When people are in fear of their government you have tyranny. When government is in fear of its people you have liberty.

Laws didn't kill these precious children. Laws didn't prevent their deaths either. The only cause of these children's deaths was a person named Adam Lanza. Here are the death stats for 2011, just so you'll be in the know. Death by firearm, other than suicide, didn't even make the top fifteen. We'd be better off banning forks!

(this table is on Page 4)

1 Diseases of heart - 596,339

2 Malignant neoplasms - 575,313

3 Chronic lower respiratory diseases -143,382

4 Cerebrovascular diseases - 128,931

5 Accidents (unintentional injuries) - 122,777

6 Alzheimer’s disease - 84,691

7 Diabetes mellitus - 73,282

8 Influenza and pneumonia - 53,667

9 Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome and nephrosis - 45,731

10 Intentional self-harm (suicide) - 38,285

11 Septicemia - 35,539

12 Chronic liver disease and cirrhosis - 33,539

13 Essential hypertension and hypertensive renal disease - 27,477

14 Parkinson’s disease - 23,107

15 Pneumonitis due to solids and liquids - 18,090

Just thought I'd pass on some facts.

PS...Kudatz, you're right. Highly unconscionable of the Beacon to parlay that information. Dunces.
