The ECHO program has not lived up to what was promised. M Hodge should have been fired years ago rather than her overseeing a program that built her Womens Museum in downtown DeLand. A museum that nobody ever goes to but she gets to play queen as President. She was named curator of the ECHO gallery - a $3 million dollar ECHO project that is poorly run at the Ocean Center. So why can't she be fired? Because she is the sister of both County employees Charlene Weaver (Jim Dinneen's right arm) and assistant County Attorney Tura Schnebly. Nepotism at its finest.
