Our Sheriff and Police Chief need to become a bit more innovative. Many of us are no longer comfortable living in this area. There is a huge prescription drug problem, bars serving underage patrons, and innocent individuals being victimized in their homes and while they are out shopping. There are also bars in the area that refer to themselves as Bikini Bars. Some of these establishments are even listed as Gentleman's Clubs and Strip Clubs online. These types of establishments are known for illegal activities and for victimizing young females. The nudity laws are regularly violated in these establishments, typically late at night when the owners feel that they are less likely to be visited by the local authorities. It is also no secret what occurs in the V.I.P. rooms. If you want to kill a snake fast you chop it's head off. If you want to stop crime you go for it's head, thus where you know crime is occurring most. Strip Clubs are also known violating the tax laws. The owners often do not claim the proceeds that they receive from door / cover charges, they tend to pay most of their staff under the table. In addition bartenders and "entertainers" report little if any of their earnings. I hope they our Sheriff and Police Chief will hear our cries for help. We want to feel safe and we want to know that our children and grand children are safe. Please get your heads out of the sand, we are fearful.

Are you sure this is what you would like to do?
