I congratulate the girls but in this economy people have to seriously consider how much money is required for these activities. Why does the Pop Warner organization require kids to stay overnight when they can easily drive back and forth? How much money is spent on required "Pop warner" outfits and fees? This has become big business and if the cost becomes so big that months are spent just fundraising maybe someone needs to step up and just have cheerleading or football for the fun of it and not require a budget like the NFL. I know it is "for the children" but is the legacy we leave our children...to go into debt at 12 years old for an activity?
