WOW - I have never been so appalled in my life. How in the world can a person (Fanny) be so negative and hateful towards children. I have been with most of these girls for 4 years and I can tell you that they have put in countless hours and good deeds to the community not only as cheerleaders, students, some girl scouts as citizen of Deltona. They have worked hard to get this honor to represent the State of Florida, Pop Warner and Deltona at this Monday's National Championship and why not help them experience a opportunity of a lifetime. This is something that they can look back on one day and say wow, we did this and with the help of our families, friends and our community. Maybe before you chastise these amazing, talented, respectful and caring young ladies and their parents, you should attend a football game, a cheer competition or stop by one of their fundraiser and meet them, their families, and coaches then make your judgement. I commend our coaches, girls, families and those who have stepped up to make a donation, simple because not all these girls families have the means to pay for their daughters credential for competition, hotel room or to cost of the food, lets not mention the tickets to watch their child perform etc. There is much more that goes into a 1 hour car ride. I truly am honored to be a part of such a great team and organization that teaches our children of tomorrow respect, integrity and compassion cause they will need it to deal with people like you. PS: Mary - your a awesome grandma, thanks for sticking up for the girls. I wish you could be here to experience this with us!!!
