We have just corrected a sentence in the story, based on advice from DeLand City Attorney Darren Elkind. Elkind said that because of zoning requirements, the Animal Rescue Konsortium will no longer be allowed to house animals at the 441 S. Woodland Blvd. location. However, ARK attorney Tanner Andrews said although there is a potential zoning dispute about the number of animals that can be kept outside at 441 S. Woodland Blvd., nothing in the agreement reached today between the city and ARK addresses that. "That's a separate discussion," Andrews said. ARK is working with the city to apply for a special exception.

Are you sure this is what you would like to do?
