As I read this I find myself very deflated. I guess its the best way to describe it. VICTORY FOR THE ANIMALS THAT WERE SEIZED!!!! On the other hand our judicial system has "reached an agreement" that allows the immediate and continued opperations of businesswhos sole purpose was to guard and protect animals that they just determined failed to do so for 135 of them. Not only that we want to discuss how much this business has done since its been here. Well let me tell you what I've seen or not seen since I purchased my home in DeLand. I've NOT seen a public apology for accepting the responsibility of the care of these animals. I HACE seen blaming others. I HAVE seen begging and pleading pur community for donations of food, supplies, and fosters because they were beyond overwhelmed. I HAVE seen the public attack of specific DeLand officers for performing their duties. I have NOT seen any actual remorse or emotion to the fact that she even acknowledges the conditions of the facility. This is the types of businesses our city wants to reach greements with and keep happy??? They're not making candles, they are caring for animals.
