Update: A reply from Candace Lankford.. and with something I hadn't considered, the old "different perspective" gag.

I referenced the Beacon story and my opinion that her statement was powerful.. and asked if she believes that the majority of Volusia County voters do not see the value of education, or if she was misquoted by the Beacon.
