The schools don't need more money, they need to figure out how to make more efficient use of the time they have in a school day. In elementary school - music and PE are a complete waste of time. Time spent away from learning to line up a class and walk them to and from 'special area'. Two thirty minute PE classes a week and one half hour of music is not life changing. I would much rather that time be used in the classroom and let me make sure my children get exercise and learn to play the boom-wacker if they so choose.
