Concerned Citizen and others bashing Karen Clark - get your heads out of the sand!! This isn't about Ms. Clark - it's about Maggie Hall and ARK and the fact that they had 126 dogs and cats in a house that is less than 1800 sq. ft. - living in filth. Deland officials gave them two opportunities to clean things up and they failed to do so. One kitten has already died - how many do you think would live very long in those conditions?? Ms. Clark had the courage (and she isn't the only one who made a complaint, by the way) to report a problem that needed to be dealt with. As someone else has stated, people cannot reveal their names or Maggie Hall will take REVENGE - she is a egotistical woman who compares herself to CHRIST, writes books to have them published by a vanity press because a legitimate publisher laughs in her face and rules everything and everyone around her with an iron fist - my way or else! So, Ms. Clark stood up and did the right thing only to be blasted by ignorant people who think that animals living in filth is okay. I'm sure that you have have heard the expression, "Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"? Take that advise - you are certainly sounding like a FOOL to defend these living conditions!!
