former foster | posted Nov 9, 2012 - 6:47:55pm
This is a copy/paste of an email from an ARK volunteer regarding the condition of dogs transported ACROSS STATE LINES to ARK. They do not vet many of their dogs, so - if you foster for ARK - you are exposing your own pets to horrible diseases - even death. Her email:

"We got 10 dogs from Hope last transport On the way down 5 other pups died of heat exhuastion When they got to Aloma Jancey those 5 were tested for parvo it was negative I am assuming they tested all 5 and just 1 of them One of the chi's that ARK pulled and Judy was fostering Died of Parvo within the 1st 24 hrs Judys foster coco had babies 6 wks ago and now 2 of the babies are sick and tested positive for parvo"

Are you sure this is what you would like to do?
