Anyone with any inside knowledge about this situation knows it was rooted in a vendetta against Maggi Hall, a wonderfully caring person who has done more good for animals than many thousands of other people. Almost any rescue facility has days and times when the conditions are less than ideal, because volunteers don't show up, or there has been an emergency situation. This was a disgraceful abuse of power. How about an investigation of Deland Animal Control and the Deland Humane Society? I pray for the safety of these seized animals and for Maggi's comfort.
