Before everyone jumps to the conclusion that these animals will be euthanized and condemns anyone who would issue a concern over the facilities. Wait til a judgement is made by the court systems. Just because these animals were sent to what people like to refer to as kill shelters doesn't mean they will be euthanized. In events like this the media coverage brings attention to these animals and makes their chances of being adopted so much greater than they were before. It's been proven before, during hurricane Katrina everyone wanted to adopt an animal from the hurricane. Right now those animals are receiving medical attention and the care they need. Once a decision is made by the courts whether they are returned to ARK or not they will be available for adoption. And people will be coming out of the woodwork to adopt.
