Think people! If something was not wrong they wouldn't have taken them POINT BLANK. Most of the time police and even county shelters don't take animal abuse, neglect and any complaints seriously. If there was smell, overcrowding, and sick animals of course they would seize them. What is wrong with you people, how can you say they take wonderful care for them "I'm a volunteer blah blah" the conditions were bad NO ANIMALS WOULD BE TAKEN IF IT WAS ALL GOOD. They may care, but when it gets that bad you need to cut down on the number of animals you take in, I am a huge animal lover, but if it were down to them living in filth, and crowded conditions, being sick, being put down would be a humane thing to do. NOT SAYING I WANT THIS FOR THEM, but shelters are crowded, it's not easy finding other places but try. But keeping them in conditions such as that is selfish. Try your best to find another no kill shelter, don't say you care when you are neglecting them it is neglect. Sorry, but this is my opinion. I took in a starving dog, wish I could save all animals. But I would never let pets live in filth, overcrowing, and be sick. They aren't happy, do you think they are? If so you are nuts.
Are you sure this is what you would like to do?
