I would really hope that this shelter, the people who complained, the city and police department have the animals best interest in mind. With that said, the problem with this and most other animal rescue groups is that they passionately care about helping displaced animals and have trouble saying "no" at local shelters or to people discard their pets. That is why they may be a bit overloaded and being a non-profit they do not have the financial resources to reach out to the community to aggressively get these animals adopted. I do not believe that the majority of people in our community want to see these innocent guys killed and hope that this report raises awareness of this shelter and the importance of either helping by fostering or adopting a homeless dog or cat. Again, their only crime is having hearts that are too big.
