My 97 year old mom lives in Kings Lake in DeBary and I understand what these folks are are complaining about. Volusia Counter Water charge $12 for water access, $18 for sewer access and then outrageous prices for water and sewage. If she used no water her bill would still be $30 a month. My mom's water bill is 3 times higher than in my home in DeBary because we have septic not sewer. People can't afford these prices but Volusia County doesn't care.

PS My moms water bill in Baltimore County was $7 every 3 months and that included sewer fees.
