The Wayne Densch Theatre for the Performing Arts has a long and rich history, both as a structural landmark and as a focal point of entertainment for the people of Sanford for more than 84 years. The Theatre houses its own repertory company which produces several shows throughout the year and also brings to the area many national and locally known artists. Many organizations hire the theatre for their own performances and throughout the year students are bused into Sanford for the theater’s Daytime Student program
The Theatre, also on a monthly basis, provides a venue for local artist to display their work
